About Us
| Elder Planning Income Concepts, LLC ("EPIC") was started in late
2005, in response to the looming changes contained in the Deficit
Reduction Act of 2005.
EPIC is owned and operated by David Midgett and Emma Hemness,
both of whom are Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Elder
Law. |

Emma Hemness |
| EPIC recognizes the
new law dramatically impacts the effectiveness of Medicaid
planning tools. EPIC makes the most of the remaining
strategies, including the use of income producing real estate. EPIC was
formed by elder law attorneys to serve the planning needs of other elder law
attorneys in Florida.
Income producing real estate can be a hassle. EPIC removes those
hassles. |

David and Emma are both proud to be Florida
Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorneys, Members of the National Academy of
Elder Law Attorneys, Members of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys,
and Members of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section

What EPIC does for your client:
-
EPIC locates a suitable income-producing
property for your client to purchase.
-
If your client cannot afford to own an
entire property, EPIC will match your client with other investors, and
your client will own a prorated share of the real estate, as tenants in
common
-
EPIC leases the property back from your
client at fair market value
-
EPIC arranges for appraisals, surveys,
closings and title insurance
-
EPIC is fully responsible for all taxes,
insurance and maintenance--your client just gets a net monthly rent
check
-
EPIC will repurchase the property from
your client upon death for a fixed amount
